Human Nature

Ioana Moldovan is a freelance photojournalist, documentary photographer, writer and published author based in Bucharest, Romania. Her photos have won awards, have illustrated books, were shown in theatre shows and numerous national and international exhibitions. „Human Nature is a photo book that brings together two of my projects united by what seems to be men’s perpetual need or appetite for conflict. And by men I mean humankind. Either against fellow human beings (human vs human), or against the environment (animals, forests - human vs nature), men seem bent on imposing their will and might by whatever means at their disposal. And as long as we are remain a species that’s quick to overtake and control, but rather slow to dig deep and understand, our future will forever be marked by conflict.“ – Ioana Moldovan
